What is Reiki?
REI means universal and refers to the universal cosmic energy that permeates everything, that involves everything that exists.
KI is the individual vital energy that flows in all living organisms, it is the energy that keeps them.
Reiki, is the meeting of these two energies, universal energy and individual energy.
Dr. Mikao Usui, the founder
Dr. Mikao Usui was, among other things, a Buddhist monk with knowledge of various holistic health techniques. He was born in Japan on August 15, 1865, in a small village called Taniai, Yamagata district, Gifu prefecture.
After a twenty-one day retreat, Mikao Usui had his experience of Satori (Enlightenment) or expansion of the seven main energy centers of the human body and with this movement he came into direct contact with universal knowledge, where he learned the correct way to use vital energy (ki) for healing.
Usui Sensei then applied the energy to himself and then to his family, having opened in April 1922 the school that still exists today, Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai, in Tokyo.
He began to teach the technique with its associated tools, such as the encoded symbols of Reiki.
The school prospered and the knowledge of Reiki spread throughout Japan and later on throughout the world.
Energy Transfer
When placing the hand on the patient, or even while staring, the therapist transfers the REI energy into the patient's body, and then the energy acts wherever and in whatever way is necessary for healing.
Universal energy, therefore, works as an instrument for transforming harmful energies into beneficial ones, since KI energy, which is personal energy, recognizes REI energy as a standard.
The therapist is just a channel for energy to be transferred. He does not transfer his own energy to the attendant nor does he receive energy from it.
When receiving a Reiki application, the recipient's body relaxes and the heart rate reaches its resting level, as well as the respiratory rate also decreases.
At the end of the session, some patients even feel as if they are waking up from a long night of sleep.
Energy Recomposition
It is a natural method of energy recovery, harmonization of energy balance, which aims to maintain or recover health.
Reiki can be used for any disease, and not only for physical ailments, but also for bad habits, emotional and mental disorders in general.
In other words, Reiki acts in the totality of being, in the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies. Accelerates the recovery of health, generating a state of harmony, promotes calm and well-being.
The application is made only with the touch of the therapist's hands, no other tools are needed for the session.
Can be used on all living things
Since it realigns the universal energy with the individual, it can be used in all living beings, including people, pets and plants.

Today only - Related to the here and now. Everything you set out to do is in full.
1. Don't be angry - Anger poisons the body and mind and does not do well for the people around you.
It is just a sign that you are trying to swim against the nature of events.
The most sensible way to deal with anger is to acknowledge it, observe it and let it go, without identifying yourself.
2. Don't worry - Worry is the second "poison" of the human body and spirit.
Whatever happens, the future does not depend on our concerns
3. Be grateful - Gratitude transforms the heart.
It is the best antidote to anger and worries.
4. Work hard - Work hard on yourself, devoting your time to spiritual growth, meditate!
5. Be kind - Be kind, caring, compassionate to people, especially those close to you. And avoid anything that can bring suffering to you and others.
